- Does this come with a deck of cards?
- No. House Rules is designed to work with any standard 52-card deck you already own. We deliberately don’t include cards because (a) you probably already have a deck you like, and (b) it lets us keep the tin small and the price honest.
- Why only 7 games?
- Because most card-game books include 50+ games and you only ever play 5 of them. We picked the 7 that actually get played, that work in different group sizes and moods, and that don’t need scoring sheets, chips, or special equipment. Everything else is filler.
- Are the cards really waterproof?
- Yes. They’re printed on PVC plastic stock — the same material as casino-quality playing cards. Spill a beer on them, drop them in a puddle, leave them on a wet picnic table. They’re fine.
- Will the tin fit in my pocket?
- The tin is roughly the size of a deck of cards, slightly larger. Fits easily in a coat pocket, a backpack pouch, a glove box, a carry-on. Won’t fit in tight jeans pockets — but neither will your phone.
- Is there a version with drinking games / kids games / two-player only?
- Not yet. We’re starting with one tin that covers the most common social situations. If this one finds its people, we’ll make others.
- Where do you ship?
- We ship across the United States and Canada. Orders go out within one business day, by tracked mail. International shipping isn’t available yet — we’ll write here when it is.
- What's your return policy?
- 30 days, no questions. If the tin is unopened and you’d rather not have it, send it back and we’ll refund you in full. Email [email protected] and we’ll send a return label.
